Clean wood is also banned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is Leaf &amp; Yard Debris?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leaves, grass clippings, weeds, brush and other plant waste are all considered &#8220;leaf &amp; yard debris&#8221;. Leaf &amp; yard debris can be composted in your back yard or \u00a0brought to any transfer station or drop-off facility. The Town of Randolph operates a &#8220;stump dump&#8221; which collects leaf &amp; yard debris on behalf of the member towns within the Alliance (Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield and Northfield). You may also contact your local solid waste hauler for collection of leaf and yard waste. Keep in mind that haulers charge for this service so it is best to call and obtain pricing information and remember that leaf and yard debris can not be placed in your curbside trash receptacle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is clean wood?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clean wood includes trees (including Christmas trees), natural wood debris, stumps, logs, root mats, and brush. It also includes clean dimensional lumber however, the lumber has to be CLEAN meaning no paint, stains, nails, or staples. It is recommended that clean lumber either be reused or burned in your woodstove if you have one.
